Hi all.

This is my first post here. I'm a Linux sysadmin without any particular knowledge about PHP, JS, CSS and so on. I'm happily using Atahualpa from about 2010 for my personal site. Due to the recent problems with WP evolution, with much regret I searched another free theme to replace it. I did not find anything I could use easily, maybe for my fault.

But I found there is a WP compatible fork called ClassicPress, aimed to maintain what WP 4.9 was. Atahualpa works flawlessly on it, at least for me.
I don't know if this can be a long term good solution, but it seems to be actively maintained so I reasonably hope so. I read in the forum there are people worried to have to change their Atahualpa sites in the near future, and maybe this can be a solution, or simply a mitigating option.

Anyway, thank you very much for Atahualpa for all these years.

Lux, a fix for the issue has been forum and I'll be trying to release a new version tomorrow (here on the forum). Keep tuned.

Another user (kdawes01) posted a fix for the curent issue so it looks like Atahualpa has some more time. I'll try to release a new version tomorrow here on the forum.
