Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Hi, I have a problem. I would like to set different header images of different size on different pages. I mean: big picture for home page and smaller pictures for other pages. I found solution on this forum, to change header image on different pages, but the container is the same size on every page, either too big for sub pages or too small for home page. Please help!

if you use FireBug in Firefox you can examine the CSS that is assigned to the header image and then construce a CSS Selector and CSS rule to add to teh 'CSS Inserts' option to change the size. If you use 'body' and teh class on the body statement that is unique for the page, you can get it to only efect that page.

Since you are a newbie I suggest you should stick with the basic features of the theme till you get your feet wet. You have to know some CSS and HTML if you want to branch out and make some different styling changes.

I suggest you start by going thru an HTML and CSS tutorial (you can find some at w3schools.com or htmldog.com) so you can learn the language and understand what is going on before you try to make changes outside the theme options.

You should also set up a 'play' site - somewhere you can go in and 'try things out' without messing up your main site.

You should also learn how to backup and restore your site.

I would also add that having a different size banner on each page could be distracting to the person visiting your site.
