Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

I was experimenting with version 3.4.6 installed by Wordpress. Then I visited this forum and saw that a newer version was available. I unzipped the file & uploaded it to the server into a directory Atahualpa349, and it showed up fine on my Dashboard.

When I installed this theme, my site disappeared, leaving only the message:
"Powered by WordPress & the Atahualpa Theme by BytesForAll. Discuss on our WP Forum"

See http://thewellness.net/blog/

Admittedly I used a site with no content, so there was nothing there than the usual sample Wordpress post.

I changed to another theme, and the content reappeared. It works fine when I install the old version too.

So what's up?

I was attracted by the apparent customizability of this theme ... still don't know whether it's possible to integrate static pages ... am now at a standstill ..

To initially get the site to show up you have to "Import a Style" which is a new function of 3.4.9. There are three styles that come with it in the Styles folder. I believe this is a glitch and will be rectified for for now initially importing a style works.

Thanks. I'm beginning to feel like a total dummy. I see and I tried clicking the Upload and Import button, selection ata-round.txt in the styles folder on my computer and ...
nothing happened!

The folder also exists on my server, with all files intact.

What am I missing?

I also tried "Reset all theme options," even though I had not customized anything (yet).

Nothing happened. Still no theme showin up ...

Adding posts doesn't helpt.

No content visible in source code. Somehow Atahualpa just doesn't pick up the content of the site -- while other themes do.
