Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

I've spent hours experimenting with inserting a link into a post. what I get is nothing. The site ignores it. Here it is. Any proofing help that can make it work - and also tell me how to do this - will be much appreciated.

<a href =“ http://www.nytimes.com/2010/08/01/he...adiation_boom” Title=“Radiation Nightmares”><a>

If what you are trying to do is have the words Radiation Nighmares link to the New York Times page you would use the following.
HTML Code:
<a href=“http://www.nytimes.com/2010/08/01/health/01radiation.html?pagewanted=2&_r=1&ref=radiation_boom%E2%80%9D”>Radiation Nightmares</a>

Thanks. It worked. Can you answer one more question?

On the 'add new post' page, HTML option, there are a lot of formatting choices. One of them is 'link'. Clicking on that gives a box that starts with 'http://' and says 'enter URL.' I must have been doing something wrong because it didn't work. Which parts of the link you gave me is it looking for?

You just go to the website you want to link to and copy the URL and paste it into that box that says enter URL. If the URL you copied has http:// at the beginning you can just overwrite the http:// that is there. It's just that a URL in a link has to have http:// at the beginning. But only once.
