Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Is there an easy way to update from 3.1.9 to 3.2 without losing some of the customizations I've done? Things like logo and header images etc.?

Thanks!
Tom

The settings that you made through "Atahualpa Theme Options" are saved in the database and would not be overwritten.

Files with the same file name would be overwritten. If you have an existing myimage.gif on the web server it wouldn't be overwritten because the theme itself doesn't have a "myimage.gif".

This may sound confusing but basically: the same upload/overwrite rules apply as with any FTP upload.

You can also upload the new version to a new directory, for instance if the current version on the web server is /atahualpa/ use /atahualpa32/ or something like that. Then move over your custom files one by one.

Got it. Thanks! Keep up the great work! I really appreciate the speed of your help and this theme is simply the best there is for WP.
Take care!
