Page2cat [catlist=xx] works but only displays one page of post excerpts

Hi,

This had come up in the other thread about this plugin. But it might have gotten lost. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas about why this is happening and what to do about it. Even if it means a different approach to solving the problem. (a different plugin?)

I've got 40+ posts in a given category. Using the [catlist=xx] short code I have a listing of post excerpts showing on a page. I love this idea and have used it a bunch of times but never with so many posts. So, only now do I notice that only a portion of the posts display on a page. There are navigation links which suggest that one should be able to go to another page of posts. But when you click on the link it just displays the first page again. I put a category link in the sidebar and it all works as expected from there. So it appears to be something about the plugin.

Is there another way to get the same result? Use of a page as a header for category posts?
