Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

I'm using the WP-Relative Date plugin (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-relativedate/) but it's not working. According to the forum you must use the the_date() function to make it work.

In Atahualpa I'm told to use %date('Y-m-d H:i:s')%. Isn't the_date() used? And how can I make Atahualpa use the_date()?

Thanks.

1) what version of WAtahualpa and WP?

The '%date' is a string place holder that Atahualpa uses to call the wordpress function 'the_time()' when it is processing the date - in certian areas of the theme options.

Atahualpa 3.5.1
WP 3.0

I've checked the source code for WP-Relative Date plugin, and it adds a filter for both the_date and the_time. So if Atahualpa is using the_time - it should be working. But it's not...

It is supposed to work with both posts and comments. My guess is that it's not working since this theme use the_time instead of the_date. the_time is only for time, not date.

It looks like this plugin will not work with Atahualpa. The plugin has a filter for the_time(), but something is not working correctly with the myriad filters and levels of code and I couldn't see what it was without spending way too much time on this. You might want to ask the plugin author.
