Article not loading from excerpt

Hi, I am working on a brandnew WP/atahualpa/qtranslate x installation.

I am using excerpts on the summary pages, but the full test article is not showing when clicking either on the title or on the elipsis.

Disabling the qtranslate plugin does not resolve this issue. There are no other plugins.

Any idea what I am doing wrong / what may be causing this?
