I uploaded fresh copy of Montezuma theme. When I click on it in the wp-admin/themes nothing shows up.
The error_log says

[18-Jul-2014 15:54:42 UTC] PHP Fatal error:  Call to undefined function bfa_get_virtual_template() in /home/mydoctor/public_html/wp-content/themes/montezuma/index.php on line 9

Line 9 in index.php is
$tpl = bfa_get_virtual_template();

Kindly help me so that I can install montezuma.
I am at present using twentyfourteenchild theme.

sounds like the install of the theme did not complete. You should try it again.
