Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

http://www.inspiredraw.com. Atahualpa 3.2. (sorry that it looks like i've put this in the wrong section).

Post title size. I would like to make the post titles smaller. Based on other threads, I went to Post/Page Styling and added the font size to the Headline Box: Text and Headline Box: Link areas:
padding: 0;
margin: 0;
color: #009999;
font-size: 1 em;
font-weight: normal;

I was able to turn off the bold, but no matter what # I put for font size, it seems to stay the same.

Line spacing and look. I assume there is no way to use maybe a 1.25 line height to open up the text a bit? The blog feels crowded to me. The wide right sidebar doesn't help, but I had to do a lot of customization, so IE wouldn't mess up the boxes. I'm now therefore afraid to mess with it!

Also, is it looks like the body background in the light teal "cuts across" as a bar under the custom header. Is this because my header isn't all enough or is this area something different that needs to be given a white background. Looked around and couldn't find anything.

Thanks for help!
Caryn

The font size seems to work. You probably had that space before em earlier. I see you have 1.85em now

You can add line-height at various places in the theme options, i.e. Post/Page Style -> BODY Box

or through a CSS Insert

div.post-bodycopy {
line-height: 1.5;
}

The margin below the header is caused by Theme Options -> Header Image -> Header Image: Height, change from 150 to i.e. 124

Flynn, thank you so much! I made all the changes and the blog looks much better.

Sorry to be slow in responding. I thought I'd set the thread to notify me of responses, but didn't see any email. I only thought to check today.

I really appreciate all your help! And I was also elsewhere in the forum today as when I added a graphic to my sidebar, I overwrote the html that was making it work in the dreaded IE. So I was fortunate to be able to refer back to posts on that.

Best,
Caryn
