Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

How do I put tracking code into Atahualpa?

I'd like to add tracking code to my site so I can use it with Google Analytics. Where does the code need to go exactly?

The instructions say:

Copy the following code block into every web page that you want to track immediately before the </body> tag

You'll find the </body> tag in the footer page (footer.php).

Assuming WP 2.7.x, within Dashboard, select "Appearance" (down left hand side) > Editor > Footer (over on the right hand side).

Scroll to the bottom of the page & there's the </body> tag.

That would put the tracking code on every page.

That would work, however there's a theme option, too, for that. See Theme Options -> HTML/CSS Inserts -> HTML Inserts: Body Bottom

Amazing!

I've just downloaded the theme and started to use it. It's so much better than anything else I've used. Thanks for the theme and this helpful forum
