Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Hi,
The problem is that the emails are not going out (i am a subscriber too of the feed to make sure they are going out correctly) to the subscribers.

On ATO>RSS SETTINGS
I have it set at bottom to
KellysLuckyYou

and activated Feedsmith to forward to
feeds.feedburner.com/KellysLuckyYou
but ntohing is forwarding to that link in google reader or nor is any emails being sent out to subscribers.

Is there somewhere in ATO theme or in WP that needs my feed code added or I've possibly done something wrong?
I appreciate any and all advise as quickly as possible. The feed has not gone out since 30th now.

The old original feed is getting the updates at
http://kellysluckyyou.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default

but its not forwarding to the new
feeds.feedburner.com/KellysLuckyYou

I feel like its got to be something simple I'm overlooking.
I'm not very experienced in the Feeds so any advice is sooooo welcomed!
Thank you!!!
Looking forward to hearing ideas and comments.

Sorry to ask (please be patient with me)

Where are those located you are asking about? (ATO or FeedBurner Plugin?)
Neither ask for original feed url.

Thanks!

Login to your Feedburner account, click on the domain name in question, and click on "Edit feed details" at the top.

Add the following to the original feed box. You can't change the Feed Address but since your original feed addressed changed you need to update the Original Feed.
HTML Code:
http://kellysluckyyou.com/?feed=rss2

Do I add
http://kellysluckyyou.com/?feed=rss2
to the Original Feed box that also has
http://kellysluckyyou.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default
or replace it? to onl y have this http://kellysluckyyou.com/?feed=rss2 address in the Original Feed Box?

If I add it to it, do I separate with comma?
i.e.
http://kellysluckyyou.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default, http://kellysluckyyou.com/?feed=rss2

Sorry i just want to be very careful. I know these things can be so temperamental. Thanks for patience.

You would replace it as you are no longer using the blogspot address.

when i look at my "google reader" it is still showing the updates for the "blogspot" feed but not showing updates on the http://feeds.feedburner.com/KellysLuckyYou
so how will this affect getting updates and will all my subscribers to the "blogspot" address stop getting updates or does it forward?

I have subscribers to the "blogspot" and some to the new "feeds/kellsyluckyyou" and dont want to lose any.
Thanks for any and all your help so far!
Its so greatly appreciated.

If you have subscribers to both I"m not sure what to tell you. It might be best to create a new feed for the current site and make a post in the blogspot site to let people know to re-subscribe.

This is really something you should ask Feedburner about. They can hopefully give you the best options.

Thanks.
Is there anything in the Atahualpa theme that causes this to mess up a feed and you have to alter anything?

I want to make sure I've done it correctly.
I've got the plugin
Feedsmith Feedburner (activated and that feed link to forward)
http://feeds.feedburner.com/KellysLuckyYou

and under ATO>RSS Settings:
I'm not sure that I really need anthing there since I'm not using those links for people to subscribe and this is about current subscriber feed.
But here is my settings:
Feedburner ID for this site: KellysLuckyYou
OLD or NEW Feedburner Account?: New-at feedburner.google.com

**could this setting need anything that would affect it sending my feeds?

Also, I guess my main question is with this theme, how does it know where to send my feed if I dont tell it? (if I didnt have a plugin like Feedsmith installed)

Thanks again!!!

This is not really a Theme issue. Read through the ATO>RSS info and read any documentation you have for Feedsmith. I typically use FD Feedburner Plugin so I don't know much about Feedsmith. Make sure your IDs are correct. I don't thing the ID for a site would be KellysLuckyYou. In the Theme directions it mentions a longer string you get from the Feedburner site.

There are just too many variables to be able to give you a quick step by step. I typically go to Feedburner, burn my feed and follow the directions.
