Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

I'm going nuts trying to find a way to post my user avatar (I'm using GRAVATAR as set in the "user" section") as part of the byline). I can't find a simple command to include it automatically and I need to add it for multi-users who are about to start posting on the site.

The avatars for comments work fine (I use Disqus).

No, wordpress is pulling it directly based on my email, I'm assuming. When I go to add a new user/profile there isn't even a place to add an image - it just pulls it in, much like the DISQUS replies pull the DISQUS avatars automatically (some of which are pulled by DISQUS from GRAVITAR).

Again, what is odd is that when I go to add a user there is no place to actually add an avatar in the form! I know WP has to support avatars (just can't find the spot) and I'm sure that Atahualpa has to have some way to link avatars. I'm thinking that I might have to upload an image for each user and then reference it directly by their user number in the byline?

UPDATE: I've installed Authors Widget 2.0 (Gavriel Fleischer) and I can't even get it to show up in the Alahualpa theme. Running WP 3.0.1.

More importantly, I still can't find a way to show a Gravatar (Wordpress.org says they are universally supported automatically) in the Byline section under ATO Post Info Items. Argh! I know it is there - just can't find it.

Thx in advance - Fred

I am using query posts widget and on the cell byline I would like to include an avatar. So I wrote
[entry-avatar] By [entry-author] on [entry-published] but only [entry-avatar] By admin on 31 octobre 2010 is showing on my blog. What is the right entry to make the avatar appear?

Tks
Antoine
