I tried to search for information in regards to changing or setting a word limit on post and some mentioned that it's a Wordpress thing while others indicate that the word limit varies by theme.

I am using Atahualpa 3.4.1 and wondering if there's a word limit and how i go about changing it to a different number as my html codes runs past the 500 limit.

If you choose "Full Posts" at Configure EXCERPTS, there should be no word limit.
