Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Hi i have made a few changes to the site, but now when the site is viewed on a mobile device (small screen) or resized window, the page breaks up.

So is there anyway of disabling the auto expand thing?

Thanks

Tommy.

The theme is designed to change on smaller devices, that't what a responsive theme does.

Not knowing what you changed or what the site is, there is not much anyone can do address your concerns

Well, Tommy, this is sort of like getting a new car after having a horse and buggy, then asking how to take the engine out so you can pull it with your horse. Nonetheless, with MZ, even that is possible.

From:
Dashboard > Appearance > MZ options > CSS Settings > Choose CSS Grid
choose one of the 10 nonresponsive options on the right.

Thanks for the input, although I have chosen Responsive 960px. Margin 0 as my option and still the website occupies only the half the space (vertically) on my iphone screen.

I tried choosing the other options, and It doesnt change.

Please suggest If I should make any changes so It covers the entire mobile screen.

I love percentage widths. Try one of them. I haven't tried them on a mobile, but they seem to work as intended on a window resize on my laptop.

OSX 10.11.5 WP 4.x Atahualpa(all) Safari, Firefox, Chrome
try taking the tags/categories out of the postformat.php virtual sub-template

OSX 10.11.5 WP 4.x Atahualpa(all) Safari, Firefox, Chrome
see Patch 113-04: the site may be squished on a mobile device or tags over run sidebar for permanent fix

You have a caching plugin. Did you clear the cache? (always shutoff cachinbg plugins during development, you will save yourself a lot of hassle.)

it looks like you have a 'mobile' plugin active since that's all that s showing up when I look at it on an iPod
