Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone can help, I have a website with three widgets set up at the top which contain
*A Widget Title
*The featured image of a most recent post in a category
*The excerpt of a most recent post in a category
*A link to all of the posts in that category

The blog is here: http://www.jonrouston.co.uk/blog/

I'm having problems getting those elements to line up correctly so that each of the four things detailed above lines up in the center.

So far I've tried
*Giving lots of elements a width of 33%
*Using text-align: center on stuff
*Removing the indent on the lists in Atahualpa style widgets

As you can see, I'm a bit of a CSS novice. If anyone could point me in the right direction (I'm not asking for code, just a bit of a nudge in the right direction), I'd be really grateful.

Thanks
Jon

div.widget {
text-align: center !important;
}

(btw, very beautiful photos)

Thanks, really appreciate it!

Unfortunately though that didn't work. I'm guessing I need to find a div that encloses the others so I can center them in that?

Am I allowed to offer this as a job (i.e. paying) on this board?

Sure you can. Let me ask you, what widgets are you using in each area?

Hi,

I have a plugin called 'category-posts' plugin and their widget is the first one. Followed by a text box which contains 'read other posts about <category>'

If anyone would like to sort this out for a bit of cash please email me jon@jonrouston.co.uk. Thanks
