Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

This is the second time I've posted my issue and I still cannot find a solution.

My site is at www.seshetagency.com. In IE7 and IE8 I cannot get the transparency effect to work on the two ends of the banner image. It looks fine in Firefox. Please - someone tell me what I am doing wrong.

I have IE8 and when I look at it w/ my browser, I do not see the transparency panels at either end of the banner image. When I look at it in Firefox, I do. Either end SHOULD be at about 40% transparency.

Looking at the source of teh generated page, it looks like you have the 'Opacity LEFT: Value' and 'Opacity RIGHT: Value' both set to '0'

I had set it to 0 for the purposes of doing work on it. I have now set it to 20%.

Another odd thing - it doesn't look right on my copy of IE8, but it looks fine on my husband's. The only difference between our installations is the version of IE8 we are using. I am using IE8 on Windows XP (so version 8.0.6001.18702). He is on Windows Vista (version 8.0.6001.18882). My question really now becomes this: So is this just not going to look right to viewers who are using IE8 on XP?

Looks fine on my version of xp. You might want to check your monitor settings - brightness/contrast etc
