Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

atahualpa fonts shrinking in FF (after 1st "click")

hi all-

this is the site: http://slouchmag.com

viewing in FF on a mac.

upon first click, no matter what link, item, etc, the page rerenders with a visibly smaller font size. this only happens once. (for example, just click on the header image, which is the home link)

i've looked at it in Safari and it doesn't do this. i have not verified this as an issue on a PC.

any thoughts? i mean, i'm assuming that it's the theme, i just installed the latest version, and have never noticed this before. i did revert back to the older version that i was using and saw that it too, does this now.

thanks much in advance.

if you are talking about the post titles like 'new air in the paragraph line out today' there are two different styling settings (1) for when the title is a link - as on a multi post page and (2) for when the title is NOT a link.
See ATO->Style POSTS & PAGES->HEADLINE Box: Text and HEADLINE Box: Links and there is also HEADLINE Box: Links: Hover

understood and thanks for your quick reply.

but why would this only happen in FF on a mac? not safari, IE(pc) or FF(pc)? that doesn't sound like a header style issue. it sounds more like a browser specific issue.

any one have any other ideas?

thanks in advance.

hmmm, ok.

i can't verify this issue on my other mac(s), and i've also checked on PC's.

it seems (maybe not so much) somewhat specific to my machine running my FF + add ons.

if anyone out there is running a mac + FF and wants to check, i'd appreciate it.

http://slouchmag.com

the issue is once you click (link, header image, any clickable item) for the FIRST time in your session visit, the whole site rerenders with a smaller (1-2px) fonts.

thanks again!

I run a MAC and see no difference that''s why I pointed out the 'likk' issue as a possibleexplaination.
