Not sure where exactly to post this, so here we go!


Since implementation, I have had, and have seen on show: Page Title << Blog Title

Show the blog title in front of or after the page title, in the meta title tag of every page? Or, show only the page title?

Page Title - Blog Title

All my recent posts have ceased to "Show" correctly.

i.e. "Showing" Blog Title only.


Why?

On which version 3.4.2 or 3.4.3. And did it work before, and what was your setting (and/or Atahualpa version) then?

So it started to happen all of a sudden? Did you install a plugin recently? If so disable it and see if this helps. Before I can suggest a solution I need a hint as to what may have triggered this

The settings you describe are the default settings.

You could also try out version 3.4.3. You can run it s an additional theme by giving it a unique directory name in wp-content/themes/ e.g. wp-content/themes/atahualpa343 vs your existing wp-content/themes/atahualpa342. Then see if it works there

Yes, it has happened all of a sudden.


Today, noticed last posts did not show Page Title << Blog Title

only Blog Title on show.


So, I searched back and there were more, recently, besides, with just the Blog Title.


Checked in all browsers, same situation.

What do you have at ATO -> SEO Options -> Use Bytes For All SEO Options?

Try changing that setting whatever it is.

Also what do you have at WP -> Posts -> [Title of affected post] -> Edit -> Atahualpa Post Options -> Meta Title?

If you have a "space" character there instead of "truly nothing" (you would have to click into the field to check this, as both a "space" and "nothing" will look the same) and you have "Use Bytes For All SEO Options?" set to YES, then you'd get

<< Blog Title

Also make sure this is not caused by a plugin by disabling plugins one by one and monitoring whether the titles come back at one point.

Try with the default theme. Try with Atahualpa 3.4.3

I have just upgraded (from 3.4.2) to new 3.4.3.

ATO >> SEO Options -> Use Bytes For All SEO Options? YES

ATO >> SEO Options -> Meta Title Tag Format > Page Title<< Blog Title


Upgraded, yesterday, from 3.4.2. to 3.4.3. and all is well.


However, upon publication of a new posting Page from 3.4.3. and then soon afterward running a Google Search for the Page - the following issue (which occured recently) remains:


Not displaying the Page Title (Blog Title only, displayed).


What is preventing my Page Title showing when published to the Web?


(Not Plugins, I have worked through each Plugin)

I checked a few pages and they look fine. On which page does this happen?
