How private? If you just want to secure it with a single password you could perhaps use this plugin. If you need more than that you do a search on wordpress.org for role plugins.

That plug in didn't help.
I've been looking for a plug in that would allow me to put the entire blog on private. To make it so that I'm the only one who can view it. I'm going to be making some changes, but for now, I just don't want it to be viewable by others.

There are several maintenance mode plugins. Do a search on wordpress.org.
