Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Hello,

On my blog the links to older and newer posts are not working.
When clicking on them you stay on the homepage.

At the moment I'm still using Atahualpa 3.4.6.

I'm not sure if you need more information and what.

I hope someone can help me with this.
Thanks in advance.

OK. So you think the links will work by updating Atahualpa?

Take a look at this thread

I asked the question because updating Atahualpa at this time is not what I prefer.
The url of my site is http://blog.fokkio.nl

I have searched for this problem on internet as well as on this forum.
I have not found a solution from someone with exactly the same problem.

Do you need more information than this?

was it ever working?
have you made any changes recently?
what version of WordPress are you using?
Have you tried disabling all your plugins to see if there is a conflict?

Honestly I don't know if it was ever working. I noticed it recently.
I am using WordPress 3.2.1
I think I will have to disable all plugins one after one then.
I hoped there was another solution for this.
Thanks for your feedback so far!

As long as you haven't made any changes to the theme code and aren't using any 'new widget areas' I'd upgrade to 3.7.1. You can manually do the install and have both themes available so you can swap back and forth to test it. See this thread: HOWTO: upgrade Atahualpa to a new version

I'm not sure if I made changes to the theme code 1,5 year ago. I was new to WordPress and Atahualpa then and did not know how to do such things.
But I will try the manual upgrade as you described. Thanks!

I'm having the same issue. Pagination works fine with the last theme I was using, but when I switch over, it just keeps sending the viewer back to the front page. I tried it with the PageNavi plugin, and without it. Both do the same thing... in the address bar it says you're on the next page, but you really just get sent right back to the front page.

What version?
Did you try disabling all plugins?

I deleted the only plugin that had anything remotely to do with pagination... didn't go away. Then I tried to deactivate all of the plugins... still didn't work. No idea what the problem is... when I switch back to my old theme, it works fine...

help!

Try setting your permalinks to the default and save them, then change it back to what you now have
