User-Controlled (<< back | forward >>) Header Slideshow

Hi - for various reasons (namely iphone and non-flash users, low bandwidth users) I'd like to add forward/back buttons to the header images, rather than have them auto-rotated, or controlled by flash (header widget w. nextgen is what I am using currently) - so that users can browse images at will, and not waste resources loading several images if they don't want to. Can anyone suggest an imagerotator that has << >> buttons built in - that can be used as a header widget in atahualpa? Help appreciated!

Dynamic Content Gallery was finally the plugin that did the trick for me...
