Hi, Is there a way to put a different header image on the home page, and a different header image on the blog page? No rotation, just a different image set for each page.

My vote is for the Dynamic Headers plugin. Atahalpa makes this plugin very easy to use. You just install the plugin, replace %image with <?php show_media_header(); ?> in ATO>Style & edit HEADER AREA>Configure Header Area. Then you go to whatever page you want to change the image for and select the picture as outlined in the directions for this plugin. You can choose to have a default image or not in which case there will be no header image.

Yes, I did hear about that. I just installed that add on and will give it a try.

thank you lmilesw, i was having issues installing it, but saw your altered php code to add to the theme and it worked. I was trying to add it to the header.php with no luck,

Note: I think the latest version of Dynamic Headers uses a slightly different php code.

Hi! Firstly, I'm thankful to finally be a part of this great community for the Atahualpa them (and wordpress in general).

In regards to Dynamic Headers - they work great through replacing %image with <?php show_media_header(); ?> in the configure header area.

I have one question though. I was wanting to center (vertically and horizontally) the picture. I appears to place it upper left, upper left? I have been able to accomplish it by using the following code:

<?php echo '<center>'; show_media_header(); echo '</center>';?>

But thats really ugly (I'm sorry for your eyes!). Is there a better way to accomplish this?
