Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Hi,
I am making a website where I have moved the blog-function to a guestbook and thus having a text-page as index-page.
As first page in the guestbook I want to put a welcoming text that should remain on top.
I made the post sticky but I neither get the post to stay on top nor can I see any of the formatting of a sticky post.
I am using Atahualpa 3.4.4 and WP 2.9.1
Anyone out there that can help me?

what is the url and which post is the sticky?
Did you verify that the post is infact a sticky (dashboard->post->edit)?

Hi,
the site isn't online sharp yet ( and not my site) so I'd rather not post the URl here. Wouldn't mind sending it in mail though.
Yes I did verify that the post is sticky. However, I made two posts at first to have a look at the formatting and only afterwards made the one I wanted sticky. Could it be because of that?

Can also add that although the post shows as sticky in the admin panel it doesn't show in the source-code. If it should.. since I've never seen what it should look like.

send me a private message with the url and I'll take a look. If you want me to really look, send me the admin id and PW - you can change them when I've finished looking.

the problem is that you do not have a post page, you have set your landing to be a static page, but have no post page selected. Add a new page called 'blog page' and at dashboard->settings->reading -- set the post page to be 'blog page'

You should now see your sticky post when you view 'blog page'
