Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Unhappy [SOLVED] Post Thumbnail settings wrong?

I am trying to somehow use the thumbnail function, which i believe is build in Atahualpa 3.7.3. I have set all the switches in Configure excerpts to Only excerpts but in the Post Thumbnail settings I still get an error message: Note: Post Thumbnails are only displayed on multi post pages, which have been set to display 'Only Excerpts'. See menu tab 'Configure Excerpts'.

So I am wondering what I am doing wrong, all the switches are on 'Only Excerpts' in the 'Configure Excerpts' section, but I still getting the error message.

what it is saying is that you will only see thumbnails in excerpts on multi post pages. So if you go to ato->Configure EXCERPTS and set 'Posts or excerpts on CATEGORY pages?' to 'Full Posts' you will not see the thumbnails, you will only see the thumbnails if you set it to 'Only Excerpts'

Thank you. So I did the settings right and its just a reminder, not to switch to "Full Posts" Settings for Multipages if I would want Thumbnails enable.

So far I did one posting containing one picture at all, but eventhough the settings are right - as you just confirmed - I dont get a thumbail in the multipage when showing excerpts - do I have to trigger this somehow through a tag or such? Thought the thumbnail feature is included?

Got it figured Did not label the picture as default article picture so it did not qualify as thumbnail. Thanks anyway
