I would like some suggestions on managing pages. You cannot sort the listing of pages by author or date. You cannot assign catagories to search by. For those of you with a large number of pages, how do you manage them. We have various authors and would like them to be able to get a subset of page to review. Any plugins that help? Suggestions?

I manage pages using the technique of assigning each author a 4 digit number prefix : 1xxx, 2xxx, etc. and I sometimes I add custom fields to the page.
