Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Wordpress 3.4.1, Atahualpa 3.7.7
You have a file named something.ico? Upload it to the theme's images/favicon folder. Then you have to designate it, in the Atahualapa Theme Options/Add a Favicon section. I usually also delete all the ones in that folder that I'm never going to use.

Sorry to reply to this post so late after it was originally created. I'm experiencing the same issue, actually, with version 3.5.3. I've deleted all the extra .ico images and only have the custom .ico image that I created in the directory. Even after designating the image and clearing cache, it does not show up. And, actually, on some browsers it shows blank and others it shows the default green star. Very strange. I tried the fix for 3.6 even though I'm running 3.5.3 but that didn't help.

Any help you can give would be appreciated.

I've always left the ATO favicon entry blank and just created a favicon.ico file and placed it in the www root.

This way it doesn't get overwritten by upgrades to the theme.

Hmmm...If the favicon.ico image is in root, the browser will know to just use it?

Thanks for the info!
