Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

I use this theme on two sites. On one site everything words fine. On the other there is a large gap on both side bars between the header and the first widget. I tried removing all the widgets and reinstalling but I get the same gap. I don't know much about programming but if someone could tell me where to look for this problem I would appreciate it.
The web site is www.hairimplantsguide.com
I tried looking through the forum threads but I didn't see anything like this.
Thank you

I don't see a large gap, maybe 15px, in Firefox on a Macbook Pro.

Thank you for the reply Paulea,
After I read what you said I checked the page in IE and it looks fine. I was using Flock which is based on firefox and I have a gap on both sidebars that moves the widgets down to mid post. I am using this theme on another site and it shows up fine in the Flock browser. I wonder why that would be?
If you have time to answer, where would I look for the setting. In the sidebar of the theme it says there is a padding of 10. What else could be causing this?
Thank you for any help.

I don't know about Flock, but did you try dumping your cache?

When you view the page, view the source and copy and paste it to a document. Then load that document into your browser. You now have a local copy of the page. Start removing the HTML (since it is a side bar isue, remove the footer, then all the posts, then the header - a piece at a time) then remove the css until you get to what ever is causing the issue. That will give you a handle of what the problem is.
