There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021
How do I update the atahualpa theme? I have version 3.2. I want to update to the newest.
Also, I have changed a lot of stuff via the theme options, will it still be there when I upgrade (plug-ins too?)?
Thanks for your time!

I'm no expert, but unless you have changed the core files by editing them, the upgrade should be really easy. Your theme options should survive, as well as the plugins. You can just download the new Atahualpa and upload it to your server, and then you'll see it when you look at Themes in the dashboard. You can preview it there, and then activate it if all is well. That should be that.
If something is wrong, just go back to the old version until you find out what the problem is.

No, the plugins directory sits outside the theme directory, in wp-content. It's part of the overall Wordpress installation and it's independent of the themes. You could have many themes all using the plugins. I do think it's a good idea to have the plugins, especially the ones you are really using, backed up on your hard drive.
