Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

My question is about page address URL or permalink. I use Atahualpa theme for my website www.smartvacationideas.com, which assigns a default permalink to each page. For example, the page "Cruises" has a default permalink http://smartvacationideas.com/?page_id=55 . The "Cruises" child page "Alaska Cruises" has default permalink http://smartvacationideas.com/?page_id=220 . Is it better for search engine visibility to change the pages' permalinks correspondingly: http://www.smartvacationideas.com/cruises and http://www.smartvacationideas.com/cruises/alaska ?

Thank you.

Permalinks are part of wordpress, atahualpa is just the theme. Search engines do like names better than numbers. Do a google search on 'wordpress permalinks' to educate yourself

I have troubles with permalink too. It appears that only one and the same permalink is added to different blog posts http://www.rebuildingalliance.org/blog. I wanted to add some options that would relate to a specific blog posts but at the moment it's impossible. Any advice on how to change it, pls ?

You have to click on the title of a post to get the the single post page at which time you will see the permalink. You should also check WordPress>Settings>Permalinks for other options. You can also rename a permalink when editing a post or page.
