Just wondering how I can remove this arrow from the title, not a huge fan of the arrowl!!!

You will need to edit the theme file 'head.php' and change line 14 changing ← to what you want as a separator.
I'd suggest doing a google search on 'wp_title' so you can understand what the function is doing and expects as parameters.
