Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Hello

I have a local installation and I have added three widgets namely footer_1/2/3 and it works well. However, in the dashboard, there is another three with the same name and its looks like

footer 1
footer 2
footer 3
footer 1 The second row is the duplicate
footer 2
footer 3

This is only seen in the dashboard and even if I put a widget in the duplicates, nothing shows up in the page. I searched the forum and saw a thread at http://forum.bytesforall.com/showthread.php?t=3938 and is it what I am looking for. Thank you in anticipation

What verson of Atahualpa?
Did you define more than one widget area - ie in the header and then in the footer (just examples)
If you go to ato->Add new WIDGET AREAS what shows up in the 'Delete custom Widget Areas' option?

The version is 3.4.9 and the code I have in my footer is
Code:
<div id="header" class="widget"><?php bfa_widget_area('name=Footer&cells=3&align=9&before_widget=<div id="%1$s" class="footer-widget %2$s">&after_widget=</div>'); ?></div>
.
I also see a difference. The working widgets have small "f" for and the duplicates have "F" in the title of the widget. I try to delete them but they keep coming back. I guess there is something wrong in the code. Please give me the code in full. I am technically retarded. Thank you

I simply changed the name from "footer" to something else and now i don't see duplicates for that. I presume it was a name conflict. Let's see whether it will come after sometime. Thank you so much, juggledad
