I've set the menu 1 order using Appearance-Menus but as you can see I'm getting different page orders and different pages.

Only on the home page they are in they in correct order. On other pages the choices are all over the place.

Am I missing something?

I don't know what is going on there but you might want to try the My Page Order plugin or if you have upgraded to WordPress 3 you could use their menu builder for more precise management of the menu.

This issue seems to have resolved itself - it may have been a firefox cache thing.
