Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

[SOLVED] Google Analytics Code Snippet Not Being Recognized

using version 3.6.1 on WP 3.0

I've never had this issue with previous versions...has anyone else noticed this issue?

I tried adding the snippet directly into the header code editor, but no joy there either.

Would this be part of the hosting issue? I'm with HostGator, and never had a problem before...

What's the URL?
What are you adding?
When you say you added into the header code editor, what does that mean?

cheers for the quick reply!

URL is www.hireaboatbrisbane.com

After adding the analytics snippet in the normal area of the theme options html/css updates, and not getting any recognition from Google, i tried adding the code snippet into the header code by using the WP code editor and added the code directly into the page code before the closing head tag as suggested by Google.

i've used this method in other themes and it worked, but that is probably a moot point.

I tried this using two different analytics accounts.

any suggestions?

Put it back in the normal area, don't edit the theme code or you will have to make the change every theme upgrade
Any caching olivine?
