Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

allowing "Pings" ?? trackbacks and/OR pingbacks ??

Okay! Truth is I'm as new to blogging as I am to WordPress and Atahualpa. I'm setting up a website mostly comprised of "static pages" and have been happy to NOT enable either Comments or Pings in the WP admin's Edit Page.

But now, I'm creating the "news" page on which the farm/company blog will reside.

Re: allowing Pings (Trackbacks AND Pingbacks):

1) what's the current thinking? Trackbacks in particular seem to have caused people problems.
2) what is the "official Flynn stance"?
3) is there anywhere that lays out the pros and cons intelligently and clearly allowing the curious to make an educated choice?
