Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

header and layers ?

Hi,

I'm thinking about it as if it were layers, though I'm sure that's not what it is:

Is it possible to create a header with a widget area floating on top of it and to position the widget just there etc. ? (check attachment out for example of what I want to do)

And is it possible to create special boxes with text in there that are controlled through css and how hard is that to do ?

Also... does the theme allow us to easily create shortchodes ?

Thanks

As I mentioned in the other thread you can do all of what you want but will require getting familiar with CSS and HTML.

Also Themeframe is not a theme. It is a theme creation tool and shortcodes are not created by the theme they are usually a part of some plugins.

part of the theme frame appeal is that it is point and click... that's why i ask.

CSS isn't a problem... I can come back and forth between fire bug and dreamweaver to figure that out... and with html I can figure it out also.

So my question:
will purchasing theme frame make my job easier or just as difficult ?

Easier mate, much easier. Takes a little getting used to but it's a great tool.
