HELP for a Novice

Hello All

I am an absolute rookie with WP.....

Here is what I want to do....

I want to integrate a FORM which will post data to a remote database from a menu link on a WP site.I have come up to creating a PAGE with FORM HTML snippet in WP admin as a test...

Is this is the best strategy ?

I already have this normal WEB FORM has its own CSS , AJAX Calls (jQuery) ,post page (does a curl post to a remote page) etc etc...This is the form i want to integrate....

Could someone point me in the right direction ?
