Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Sub menu width problem with WP3

I upgraded to WordPress 3 today, and at first I thought everything went fine until I clicked on the menu items and I noticed that the sub menu lengths were not correct. Changing the submenu width has no effect on the size.

I've set the width all the way up to 25 without any change.

??? Similar problem as http://forum.bytesforall.com/showthread.php?t=7597 ???

I am having the same problem with WordPress 3.0. Also, my multi-level menus are not appearing correctly.

Hi,

I have just joined the forum. I have ended up as the 'webmaster' for a community site which is being set up in Shropshire, England. I had hoped that others would have more techy experience than me, but alas they didn't

This is my first venture into a WordPress website and we are hoping to launch it next month.

Today I upgraded to WP 3 and at the same time to Atahualpa 3.4.9. Like the above user I too have noticed that the page menus are not working like they were. I use Firefox 3 (on Win2000) and I doubled checked on MS IE6. There too they are not as they were, but they are different than on Firefox.

I have taken some screenshots and put them on the following web page (easier than trying to use words):

http://www.hodnet.org.uk/help_please/

As they stand they are unusable in Firefox

The site we are building is hiding behind a dummy page at, http://www.hodnet.org.uk and can be accessed from the link at the bottom of the above page.

Is there something I can do to return the menus to their earlier appearance or is it a deeper problem? I don't have any real experience of CSS / PHP.

Any help would be appreciated.

I came here to post this. This is a huge problem for me, as my site gets a few hundred visitors a day, and the site uses several drop-down menus. Any fix for this would be appreciated ASAP!

Sarah,

Juggledad has asked on another thread that we watch a third one for his fix to this problem.
