Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

I'm trying to put navigation in Bar2 in the header! I can't find any info on it and I did look. I found a few things close, but nothing that helped! I posted about trying to put a different thing in there too but noone responded so in general, can anyone let me know where to edit things to get navigation in the header? At the bottom of the header!

Thank you..

Since you don't want to put it in between other default Atahualpa header items you could just put it into header.php after <?php bfa_header_config($bfa_ata['configure_header']); ?>

Flynn,

Thank you! That does work! I'm wondering though... When you say "since you don't want to" do you mean that I conveyed that I don't want to or is it "best practice" not to?

I'll put it where its supposed to be. I just thought that's where it went! If you think it's better off somewhere else which would make it display in the same space, by all means, tell me where to plop that code. I'll be more than happy to do it the right way!

Thank you much

The way the theme is set up, additions in between default header items require manual edits of bfa_header_config.php, a rather complicated file, and these changes need to be re-done with each theme upgrade. I am changing this in 3.3.4

Putting something below or above the whole configurable header section (as in your case) is easier.

It works fine as you instructed and I'll check for the update too!
