Wordpress 3.4.1, Atahualpa 3.7.7

Some of you know of my online newspaper, the Larchmont Gazette. http://larchmontgazette.com Publication has stopped, because my partner and I needed to move on to other projects, and nobody in town has stepped up to take over the publication.
We just received a wonderful email from a news publisher in Australia. He said he had stumbled upon the Gazette when just beginning to think about starting his own online newspaper, and was inspired by our work. He decided to use Wordpress and Atahualpa, and "has never regretted the decision." Here's the result: http://www.surfcoastnews.com.au/

Hi Guys
I finally switched over to Atahualpa after dilly-dallying for quite a while. I'm pretty noobish in css etc and spent only a few hours on customizing it but here is the initial output http://tech.shantanugoel.com Please check it out and let me know if you have any suggestions.

Hello
it's a brutal website about dictators. If you guys think it's not appropriate feel free to remove this link:
http://www.burnadictator.com/blog
Theme is just uber useful for my needs. I just put lot of black backgrounds and white title color for blog to look aggressive because of it's content. I just launched this morning (GMT time) so there is lot's of works to do.

I used to have the FallSeason theme created by Sadish Bala ( http://wpthemepark.com/themes/fallseason) for my WP site. Since the theme has not been updated for a while, I decided to make Atahualpa look like FallSeason. The result of my effort is
http://pushih.com
(Note: This is Chinese website).
I also have another site using the Atahualpa theme at http://ypchen.com
I like Atahualpa very much and thank you for making such a great theme.

Thanks for the compliments! You can make something as nice with Atahualpa, just need to make sure you have the site layout planned out and some php code.

@SupraTT - You may have shared this before but do you mind sharing what you are using for the slides on your site?

Hi Larry, for the "slides" I am using PHP if statements to determine which DIVs to appear and which "class" to be active.

I've been an Atahualpa fan for a while now, the following are all Atahualpa, some with more hacking than others. I'm still finding new ways to individualise this theme, but just love it.

and for a very different look... http://www.alphamodels.com.au/
Edit from original post - some sites removed, now my own ThemeFrame themes or not ATA

http://www.megedizioni.it/ is the first website I made with Atahualpa. It's a great theme to work with, I'll keep making a donation for every site I'll build with it; I think it's a fair deal to share the good results with the developers.

Well, I've finally plucked up the courage to make my site live!
Railway Holidays
Still LOTS I want to do but decided I'd never launch if I kept waiting until it was finished in my eyes!
Any comments (all kinds) welcomed.

Must say thanks to everyone involved with Atahualpa - I used it to transfer my literary mag over to Wordpress earlier in the year, and with very little compromise in terms of visual design. This week I rolled out the first new issue since the change and it was as easy as I'd hoped.
If I were to do it again I might build up from a bare-bones 'naked' theme, but Atahualpa has been a massive learning experience and I've got a much better grasp of Wordpress and PHP in general because of it. So thanks again for the resource!

Amazon.com aStore Sucess with Atahualpa
I just finish a new Atahualpa website that features an Amazon.com aStore. I'm quite please with how easy it was to implement with Wordpress. I simply inserted the code form the Amazon Associates site, and this money maker runs all by itself. It actually adds to my site's content, since I can make references in my blog to helpful products in the store at the bottom of my webpages. One tip in particular is to use anchor links to your store with references in the blog story. Here's an example on my newest Atahualpa website: WoW Macros Guide
Thanks, Atahualpa. I owe you a million. If you are also taking advantage of this awesome Wordpress theme, please let know what you think of my Atahualpa website with an Amazon.com aStore.

Can't thank you enough, Flynn! You too, Larry and Juggledad! I tell you what, Microsoft would charge $200/hr for the kind of support I've received at this site on a regular basis. I was happy to make my recent donation...guess another is in order soon. Thanks, guys!

Not a true magazine style, but almost: husdal.com
Using the Add New Widget Area function and the Kalin's Post List plugin and a static frontpage I was able to create something that mimics a magazine style:
The nice thing about plugin is that the output can be styled easily, something that is quite hard with the other post list plugins I have come across.
