Very nice site! Very clear and easy to read and navigate. I like the Ho Ho Ho in the search field.

Thanks! I love the My Calendar plugin. Definitely the best one out there. I must have downloaded and deactivated 5 or 6 plugins before I found that one!

With the new football (soccer) season about to start in the UK I have been making lots of "upgrades" to my site. More to come, there will be widget areas either side of the blog title and latest post widgets for winning bets and latest news. I also like the idea of making the first 4 posts "magazine" style ie two posts side by side and then the pairing repeated, this would help with some "stickies".
But after working on this for some time, maybe its time to "show-off" a little.
So please take a look and comments (good and bad!) welcomed http://betpremier.co.uk . A little constructive criticism is a good thing.

I've just been using the theme for a few days (infact, the blog just went live yesterday) but would love comments on the general look of things!
http://blog.evaxu.com
Contrary to most of the other posts on here I'm just using WordPress for the blog and not for CMS at the moment as the site was already built using Dream Weaver without thinking to include a blog. However, now that I see it could all be controlled this way I don't see how the domains could - as I use the subdomain http://blog.evaxu.com for the blog and regular domain http://www.evaxu.com for the rest of the site.
Anyone know a way to host things across different subdomains from one wordpress?

Try this site to establish colours that work together for your site http://kuler.adobe.com/
The rotating gallery is Feature Content Gallery and works very well in this theme.
I love this theme too...

You could add some conditional logic and put it above the loop in ATO>Style & edit Center Column.
I would suggest looking at JQuery Featured Content Gallery which allows for the use of a shortcode or Dynamic Content Gallery which comes with a widget which you could place in a New Widget Area. Then you could set the logic on the widget to only show on the front page with a plugin such as Display Widgets.
Both of the plugins I mentioned also list as being compatible to WP 3.01 as well.

I invite you all to see the use of Atahualpa (and / or check out the free resources for living inspired, energized and unstuck ;-) at http://www.Flow-Dynamix.com.
Forum member Larry Wilcox (lmilesw) was instrumental to this site. Larry came in and did the heavy lifting for things I didn't know how to do, didn't want to make the time to learn or just messed up. He saved me tons of time and stess. My only regret is that I didn't go to him sooner for help.
I continue to work with Larry and recommend him highly to others at http://www.cnywebdesigns.net/
Best,
Caryn

Hi. Take a look at the site I built for my client: http://collegefootballinjuriesplus.com. He is not technical so wordpress/ata worked well to allow him to easily input and categorize his reports. Each team is a category; he enters the post and clicks on the checkbox and he's done! I did some editing so it shows 'teams' instead of categories...otherwise, it's standard stuff.
note: the site might be slow -- he might have wp-cache turned off as he enters the reports. 107 so far and he's had the site a week!
Thanks!

This is nicely done! How did you do the background in two colors?

Thanks for your kind words. To do the background, I created the attached jpg in photoshop and put this line in the body, text & links tab under Overall Style & Config in the ata control panel:
background: url(/wp-content/themes/atahualpa346/images/bg3.jpg) repeat top left;
there might be a more elegant way to do it (this way fails if the page is too long because the top of the graphic repeats) but it works for this site.

So it doesn't repeat vertically just use
HTML Code:
background: url(/wp-content/themes/atahualpa346/images/bg3.jpg) repeat-x top left;

A 3 cell table in the header area using
PHP Code:
<?php bfa_widget_area('name=Header_widget&cells=3&align=1&align_1=8&align_2=1&align_3=4&width_1=300&width_3=500&before_widget=<div id="%1$s" class="header-widget %2$s">&after_widget=</div>'); ?>
to replace
then simply add text boxes to the new widgets

Initital soft rollout of ONESF.
http://onesanfrancisco.org
If you're in SF, you'll start seeing ONESF on construction signs,etc.
Spring should see a bit of a redesign with a project status/map section and possibly a photoblog.
And there are some inconsistent graphics, a bug with my textonly script, and a couple other accessibility issues I need to fix.

I especially like you last two. I actually looked at the source to make sure they were Atahualpa. Nice job.

I agree that the three in the lower part of your message above are really excellent, and highly creative extensions of Atahualpa. You have opened my eyes to another level of possibilities. I especially admire the dragon boat race design.
But while http://www.sparks2010.com is in that same class of imagination and skill, I have to say (and I hope I am not offending, for that is not my intention) that the color scheme of red, white and black is disturbing. I would cite the infamous historic monster who made it his regime's own, together with one of the most powerful graphic icons now known for hate and repression. It is such a bad history I will not even say its name but I think you get my point.
I have done some research into how that color scheme came to be. It was the deliberate product of an evil genius who spoke openly about the emotional power of that combination. He cited research that confirmed the colors in that combination evoked fear and anger. I think he was correct. I don't know of ever seeing them used in any other political context or national flag.
Bottom line, with sincere respect, I suggest that you may want to consider that history and the effect it had on what had been once one of the world's most highly cultured and technologically advanced nations until it fell under the spell of that symbol in those colors. Your candidate looks like a really good guy and I see he has admirable qualifications. I sincerely think he deserves a more American color scheme.
Respectfully
