Ooops. After posting that I figured out a solution on my own. Please disregard.

It's always nice to show off. My site is about the largest funfair in the Netherlands.

I started usig the theme (and wordpress) just a few weeks ago (3.1.9) and, with no developer skills at all, it's kind of heaven on earth to me..

While not as sophisticated as many of the sites listed here, my Watching YouTube blog shows what a non-css coder and fairly green blogger can do with the Atahualpa template in a few days.
I find my current layout to be a bit busy -- something I hope to correct over time. My main concern is readability and ease of use. Blogs, like newspapers, can be a bit messy at first look but are nonetheless easily navigated and digested by the regular reader.
Nonetheless, I am humbled and inspired by the many excellent uses of the Apahuala template see in this thread.
I have used Jooma (Rochettheme) and still do for Strangelove.com but find WordPress to be MUCH easier for simple content management and page/post updating.
Flynn's Atahualpa theme is well worth charging $50 to $80 and is an extraordinarly user-friendly and flexible product.

I just started two german blogs with the Atahualpa Theme. The first one is my private blog http://www.schirmer-online.de
The second one is a blog I started with three colleagues. The blog is named "The Sisters of SharePoint" and deals with the dark side of collaboration http://sharepointsisters.de

I love your site. How did you get that beautiful big header and wonderful menu bar?

When I found this theme I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. And Flynn's forum was (and still is) simply unbelievable to discover. I donated right away and make regular contributions. Support the man, people!
Here's my site, for anyone interested.

Among other things, Flynn showed me how to widgetize my front page, so that the main page sections are movable and easily customizable. Works so great for the purposes of the site.

Awesome design, Tony. Wouldn't have known that Atahualpa is under the hood. Not a fan of the Blue/Ocher design colors, though, but that's just my personal preference. The catalog page with the "more details" feature is excellent.

I'm still working with it, but Atahualpa is by far one of the best Wordpress Themes I've found. Here's how my blog looks at the moment: Cosy Little World.
I wanted to make rotating quotes for the header, at the moment I'm using the Tag Line, but I guess I'll just make multiple headers with diferrent quotes.

Thanks for the kind words, Vikram. The catalogue perk is a feature of WP Shopping Cart plugin. It's a little clunky but really does a nice job. Can't beat the price!

I just created a personal blog using this theme. It is great to say the least.
I tried to keep it as simple as possible. Didn't really change it too much from its default settings:

Hi all,
I'm the managing editor of Babalu Blog and during early february we made the switch from an outdated version of Movable Type to WordPress. I was looking for a good 3-column theme that I could customize to maintain the original look and feel of our 2-column MT blog. I downloaded Atahualpa and love it. Flynn has been great in answering questions. If you're using Atahualpa show your appreciation by making a donation.
P.S. I call our version of Atahualpa "Hatuey". Hatuey was a Cuban indian chief.

hi .. I used the Atahualpa in my blog about GIS. I used some CSS to make the edges more rounded (not work in IE). the link is: http://geoprocessamento.geocomciencia.com.br

A week ago I hadn't used anything more teccy that 'Word' or 'Excel'.
With this wonderful theme and the support of this fantastic forum, I now have a website that I feel is ready for the world to see.
It's not entirely 'there' yet but it's certainly on the way ....
Thank you SO much

Sorry for getting back to you so late... - it's no magic, just a funny background image which puts a left and right part to the pages bar...-)
