There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021
Not quite sure what you are asking but the font of search results would be the font of posts.

Enter a search term in post code - try "L37"
Hit Search
Headings from posts appear a grey color
Aschool
Bschool
etc;
- how do I change this?

That is in the Style Posts & Pages section of the theme options. There is a boxes there for the Headline both for when they are or aren't links.

Thanks for that - but i must've done something else that's conflicting
I have in both link and post the following:
padding: 0;
margin: 0;
font-size: 125%;
font-weight: normal;
color: #270691;
The Headline shows different on the results page (where it is a link) than the actual post page.

What happens if you use px or em instead of %
Also are you putting the CSS in HEADLINE Box: Text and HEADLINE Box: Links

Using em, using 1.4 emit looks better but the search results page's still look bigger.
i am using a widget for the search - might that be the issue?

It's not the widget... I just tested and using em or % gave me different sizes as well. If I used px all was the same. I am going to look into why this is the case.

The reason behind this is that you have ATO>Configure SEO>Make Post/Page Titles H1? set to Yes so that on single post pages the titles are H1 and on excerpt pages or pages where multiple posts show they are set to H2 so the em and % doesn't work properly. If you set ATO>Make Post/Page Titles H1? to No the em and % should work fine.
