How might I use of Italics in the menu bars using ATA? I'm just learning css and playing around with making changes. Can you help?

Tried placing font-style:italic in various places without any luck.

Just add italic at the beginning of the font size and face box in the menu section(s) of the theme options.
Example

italic 11px Arial, Verdana, sans-serif
