When you click on a category it opens up a category page with excerpts from all the posts in a category. If you are only going to have one article on blogging for instance you should probably use pages instead of posts and put a page widget in the side bar. Alternatively you could go to Ata>Configure EXCERPTS>Post or excerpts on CATEGORY pages and set to Full Posts.
