Turn off menu 1 and adjust menu 2

Hi, I've been looking through the theme, and would like to know if there's any way to turn off the header menu (get rid of the text links, animations, everything), and replace that area in the header with an image that I upload, so that the header of the website has the title and tagline on the left side, and then the image on the right side.

I'm also trying to adjust menu 2 in order to have only parent pages displayed, but when the mouse hovers over the parent link, the children links are displayed.

Any help with either of these issues would be much appreciated!
