I am totally flummoxed as to why the homeless menu is deeper in height compared to the others. I have spent ages trying and failed.

looks like you have a blank menu item in your WordPress custom menu

I did check that first and no blank menu
it must be the slider conflicting

I will try a different header

I would double check all the CSS for the menus including the background image.
