When I use the option only excerpts, and I have thumbnail-pictures in my post, I want them to show up also in the excerpts, not only in the post itself.

Is this possible?

I cant find out how to also show the caption of the pictures within the excerpts, what tag do I have to add in the "Don't strip these tags" field?

Hmmm, works for me, how far in the post is the code for the image? i.e. is it before the first word, after teh 50th word?

update: It looks like the code for the image is counted in the EXCERPT LENGTH
