I would like to have the entire excerpt to be clickable, and not just the title or the 'read more' .
Where should I start mod?

The only way I can think to do that is using manual excerpt for every post wrapped in an a tag and linked to the full post page. You will have to add <a> to the "don't strip these tags" box.

You will have to edit bfa_post_parts.php
