second level menu background messed up after update to latest Wordpress version

Ok, finally took the plunge and updated to Wpress 3.0.1 and generally everything went ok. I have been just checking through the site to see that everything is as it was prior and noticed that one menu item which has a secondary menu that the background colour on the drop-down menu no longer spans the complete width of the menu, it now only run the width of the menu text.

Can anyone help please!!
